I couldn't help feeling that it was so much like a person I knew. And it freaked me out completely. I had goosebumps when I thought about it over and over. Plus, elements of this book are hair-raising; if you know what it feels like. Or if you know what they are talkng about. Well, I've done about 1/5 of the book and its captured my attention.
